Well another 5 galleries have been uploaded from our past visits to Corby including some shots from our ride with the vert riding legend Jamie Bestwick on his brief UK visit prior to heading off to take the win at the 2009 BMX worlds at Koln . . .
Catching up with the photo updates another 5 gallerys have been uploaded . . .
Well it’s been a while!!
Due to spam abuse the site has been unusable for some time, until I could spend some time on creating a new one that is! and here is the first bit done and up and running. There’s a back log of photo’s to be added to the site which should be uploaded over the comming weeks and all going well we’ll be back on track.
More work is to be done on the site and will happen as and when I get time. Commenting on the photo’s now has a captcha system to help resolve spam troubles which means you’ll have to type in some characters to prove your a person adding a comment.
Hopefully our media can now still be shared and enjoyed (or not!) by everyone again, but don’t let it get in the way of your riding . . . . !
What is WideOpen?
Well, you ride a bike, huh?You get your chosen rig out of the garage/shed/living room and it makes you smile. That’s what WideOpen is. The smile it puts on your face, the feeling the missus (or your fella) doesn’t understand.
This is their third issue, and in it we have…
• Interviews with Steve Peat, Josh Bryceland and more
• KOD 2+3
• Nemesis Project interview
• An alternative look Empire of Dirt
• Race reports galore
• Solid Mission 9 test
• Exclusive kit previews
• And more…
WideOpen is about a good feeling, nothing more or less.
A collaboration… A new bike magazine… BMX or mountainbike…
We’re sure you’ll love every page. Whether you see yourself in it/doing it/attempting it, just the spirit and that smile mentioned above will be on your face.
WideOpen is organic and will grow. We want your involvement, so get online to www.wideopenmag.co.uk and get in touch.
WideOpen represents a collaboration that pulls together ‘bike stuff’ in a new bike magazine, published bimonthly. We sincerely hope you enjoy it. We do.

The new DVD from the Herts Shore Collective III – ‘Swings and Roundabouts‘ is now available from Marshalls bike shops and it’s free . . . with a tenner minimum donation to the Herts Shore wood fund that is!
Well after attending the preview screening of the new DVD we were among the first in the que to pick up our own copy and with the profits going directly back in to running of Herts Shore it’s well worth it!
Sunshine and blue sky’s welcomed us at Chicksands for the first round of king of dirt.
A lot of work had been put in the previous weeks by gethin and dowie to get the new line up and maybe running for the pro comp, Tim and the other guys had also put some work in during the week to get the lander finished. With some final alterations on the day and a little tweaking the line was finally running.

We hope you all have had a nice Christmas and New years, seems like ages ago now. 2007 has started rather mild in weather the department which has given us plenty of time to go out an ride + capture some new photos.
Most resent adventure being Herts shore which I think blew all of us away!
Jedi and the Herts lads have been busy building again! Check the photos to see what they have been up to.
Chicksands has 6 new galleries for you to browses through, starting from the days before Christmas, also show’s you a few new additions to the place.
Woburn has a couple of new galleries showing some of the changes that have taken place down there. Last but not least we have Corby, with one new gallery up.
We hope you enjoy!
